Job Description:
Purchases materials, supplies and services within established limits and quality, quantity and price guidelines. Items are readily available and quantities are generally small. Buys from local retailers, wholesalers, jobbers and manufacturers’ sales representatives. Prepares purchase orders. Maintains list of preferred suppliers. Prepares routine and special reports as required. Obtains quotes and negotiates delivery arrangements. May be responsible for locating new sources of supply. Typically, junior level positions perform basic/repetitive tasks following established company procedures, and work under direct supervision, with decisions reviewed/made with senior personnel. Possesses 1-2 years of experience.

Base Salary (range):
$51,100 – $60,300
