Health and Safety

At the Petroleum Services Association of Canada we value safety in everything we do. The strategic directive is to work with government and industry organizations to champion / integrate Operational Integrity issues and efficiencies.

To accomplish this directive, we:

  1. Advance the harmonization of standards, regulations, industry orientations and industry health and safety data-gathering processes;
  2. Champion the development of training, best practices, performance standards and Industry Recommended Parctices (IRPs) based on data-driven decision making.

All Core-Group Members of the Association are required to have a Certificate of Recognition (COR) or a Small Employers Certificate of Recognition (SECOR) in place for their safety management systems.
