PSAC Product Listing for Potential Toxicity Important Notice: The Alberta Energy & Utilities Board (EUB) requires toxicological data on specific mud additives used in the Province of Alberta by the oil and gas industry. At present, no additions are being made to the current List (reference Section 7 of Guide 50) as the EUB is drafting a revised Guide 50. Accordingly, to ensure that testing of products submitted meets any new protocol or criteria, no additions to the List are being made pending the revision of Guide 50.
The information compiled in this List is based on data collected from various industry sources. It is intended to provide useful information about a product's level of toxicity. PSAC does not warrant the information and cannot assume responsibility for any loss or accident that may result from its use. Furthermore, nothing contained herein shall be construed as a recommendation for use by PSAC.
