Responsible for directing crew operations and in the rig manager's absence, responsible for the crew. Operates the draw-works, pumps and pipe, monitors the progress of the service operation, and determines when equipment or parts need changing. Lowers equipment to pull up broken tubing, casing and pump rods and lowers testing instruments or special servicing tools. Assists with the training of crew members and helps crew to work safely and efficiently.

Several years of related industry experience in field operations. Related certificates such as first aid, CPR, WHMIS, TDG, H2S and Defensive Driving would be a requirement, and additional safety or related training would be considered an asset.
