Job Description

Operates and monitors manual or electronic production equipment to perform repetitive tasks. Observes panel indicators, gauges, meters, video monitor or other instruments to ensure correct operation of machinery. Checks machine parts and performs minor adjustments as necessary. Performs routine sampling to ensure production meets quality standards. May perform routine equipment maintenance. Follows clearly defined instructions.

Qualifications

Enrolled in a secondary machining certificate program. Basic understanding of machine operation tools. Experience at an apprentice level is required. Some related plant experience is an asset.

Hourly Wage

$17 - $25
