  How big is the Petroleum Services Sector’s contribution to the Canadian economy?  Really big! The Petroleum Services Association of Canada recently commissioned the Canadian Energy Research Institute (CERI) to conduct a study on the economic impact of the PS sector to gather the facts on:
  
  - What is the definition of “PS and E&P support activities”?
  - How big is the domestic PS sector?
  - How big is the export PS sector?
  - How many people work in the PS sector?
  - The size of the PS relative to other better-known Canadian Industries

• PSAC Education Fund Golf Classic - July 22, 2010
  On July 22, 2010, PSAC members and guests enjoyed a day in the sunshine for a game of golf at the Calgary Elks Lodge and Golf Club at PSAC's annual Education Fund Golf Classic and raised $48,000 for education.  Details and photos can be found here.

• PSAC Education Fund Golf Classic - July 2011
  Established to increase awareness of and interest in petroleum related careers, and at the same time serves to demonstrate the positive impact that industry can have in communities, the tournament is the primary fundraiser for the PSAC Education Fund.  Since inception in 2001, the Fund has awarded over $140,000 in scholarships and grants. The scholarships help youth pursue post-secondary education, and the grants assist schools in western Canadian rural areas to enhance math, science, and technology related programs.
