The PSAC Education Fund Golf Classic has become one of the most enduring golf tournaments in the oil and gas industry. The 2010 event promises to be even better! Exciting enhancements will take the tournament to a whole new level, providing an unparalleled player experience and exceptional value to sponsors.
The tournament is the primary fundraiser for the PSAC Education Fund, established to increase awareness of and interest in petroleum-related careers and demonstrate the positive impact that industry can have in communities. Since inception in 2001, the Fund has awarded over $120,000 in scholarships and grants! The scholarships help young people pursue post-secondary education, and the grants help schools in small communities in western Canada strengthen their math, science and technology programs. Tournament play is open to PSAC Regular Members and applicable tournament sponsors only. Registration is currently reserved for sponsors. Check back soon for further registration details.

Taking place at the private Calgary Elks Lodge and Golf Club, the 2010 tournament will kick off with a hearty breakfast to prepare players for an enjoyable day of golf and – new this year – course activities including vehicle contests, an opportunity to “Beat the PSAC President” and a few “refreshment” stops along the way. The perfect day of golf caps off with a delicious steak BBQ and silent auction set against a backdrop of the course’s stunning vista views.
