Mike Edmonds, Chair
President, Import Tool Corp. Ltd.
Mike Edmonds is the president of Import Tool Corp., a Canadian oilfield service company that was established in 1953. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta. Mr. Edmonds has served on a variety of not for profit and community related boards and organizations throughout his career.



Lucas Mezzano, First Vice-Chair
Sales Manager, Tenaris Global Services (Canada) Inc.
Lucas Mezzano has over 12 years of commercial and operational experience related to the upstream oil and gas service industry, both in Canada and internationally. After moving to Canada seven years ago, he was responsible for oilfield services within a multinational pipe manufacturing company and is now the business development manager for a well-established domestic manufacturer of completions equipment. Mr. Mezzano is very active in the oil and gas community, not only with PSAC, but also with SPE, CHOA and the Petroleum Society of Canada.



John Gorman, Second Vice-Chair
Vice President Canada, Halliburton Group Canada
John Gorman is the vice president of Halliburton Canada. He began his career in the oil and gas industry as a geologist with Canadian Hunter straight out of the University of Saskatchewan. He joined Halliburton in 1991 to work offshore Newfoundland and Nova Scotia as an MWD Engineer/Geologist and has been with Halliburton in increasing roles of responsibility ever since. Prior to assuming his latest role, Mr. Gorman has served as the Canadian manager of Sperry Drilling Services and director of business development for Halliburton Canada.



Ray Mills, Third Vice-Chair
CEO and Founder, KUDU Industries Inc. 
Ray Mills, with his father Robert Mills, founded KUDU Industries Inc. in 1989. His career began as a sales and service manager, and he became the chief executive officer in 2003. Over the years, Mr. Mills has implemented agressive growth strategies and lean manufacturing while promoting an entrepreneurial spirit within KUDU. Under his direction, KUDU received several awards for manufacturing practices.



Brian Coston, Past Chair
Manager - Drilling Fluids,
Canamara United Supply (a Division of Diversity Technologies Corp.) 
Brian Coston has 31 years of experience in the drilling fluid Industry, starting in Ft. St. John, BC and working his way to Calgary in the early 80s. Mr. Coston has spent time on projects in the Arctic, the USA and Argentina as well as extensive experience in the WCSB. He is currently manager of the Drilling Fluids Division of Canamara United Supply, the wholesale supplier of chemicals to the mud industry. He has been an active member of PSAC since 1994, working on such projects as the PSAC mud schools, the PSAC mud list, and the G-50 review. Born and raised in Calgary, Mr. Coston provides a unique perspective on the Canadian oil industry.




Mark Salkeld
President, Petroleum Services Association of Canada 
Mark Salkeld assumed the role of president of PSAC on November 1, 2010. He brings to the position 27 years of experience with Nabors Drilling both domestically and internationally. Mr. Salkeld entered the industry in 1980 as a mechanic and moved through positions in maintenance, operations, human resources, training, quality control and procurement, taking on progressively senior roles that also included a variety of overseas assignment encompassing offshore northern Greece, Western Siberia and two projects in both west and east Australia. Most recently in Queensland, Australia, a state with a burgeoning CBM gas industry, he worked to introduce and employ Nabors Hybrid Coil over Top Drive Drilling Rigs.  Mr. Salkeld recently completed his MBA through Athabasca University while working full-time, recognizing that a combination of operational and management expertise are key in today’s ever-changing service sector.

 


Ken Bagan, Director
Director
, Trican Well Service Ltd.
Kenneth M. Bagan was been the president and CEO of Enerchem International Inc. from April 2008 until May 2011. Mr. Bagan’s career in the industry began 33 years ago operating an oilfield cement truck and he has spent the intervening years in operations, operations management and, following a law degree in 1989, as general counsel and executive management. He was the president and chief executive officer of Wellco Energy Services Trust from December 2004 to the time of its merger with Peak Energy Services Trust in 2008. Prior to that he was senior-vice president of Wellsite Services at Tesco Corporation. Mr. Bagan spent 16 years at Nowsco Well Service including various management positions and six years as general counsel, and now serves as a director of Trican Well Services Ltd. and HSE Integrated.



Mike Davis, Director

, Baker Hughes Canada Company
Mike Davis, President of Baker Hughes Canada Company, is a 35-year oilfield services veteran.  Mr. Davis began his career as a field salesman for the Hughes Tool Company in south Louisiana.  His career has taken he and his family through assignments in the USA, Singapore, Jakarta, Dubai and Moscow before coming to Calgary in 2009.  Mr. Davis has held a variety of assignments in the oilfield services and mining industries, including positions in sales, marketing, human resources, distribution and business development. Prior to coming to Canada Mr. Davis served as president, Baker Hughes Russia.



Wally Dumont, Director
Vice President Operations,
Clean Harbors Energy & Industrial Services
Wally Dumont has been involved in the oil and gas industry since 1978, originally starting with Chem Wash Industries in Devon, AB providing down hole acidizing, chemical and industrial cleaning services. Born and still residing in Edmonton, his career has involved both domestic and international business. He has been with Clean Harbors Energy Services (formerly Eveready Energy Services) since 1995 as vice president operations and continues to oversee the specialty industrial operations for the company.



Brad Fedora, Director
President and CEO
, Canyon Technical Services Ltd.
Mr. Fedora joined Canyon in September 2007 as president, was appointed to Canyon’s board of directors in spring 2008, and was promoted to president and CEO in fall 2009. Before joining Canyon Mr. Fedora spent the previous decade with Peters and Co. Ltd., a Calgary-based investment bank focused on the energy sector, where he specialized in financings and merger and acquisition transactions for the oil and natural gas service and supply sector.  Before joining Peters Mr. Fedora attended university, where he also accumulated field experience while working summers for an energy company in Saskatchewan. Mr. Fedora holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Saskatchewan and an MBA in finance from the University of British Columbia. He is a member of the board of directors of IROC Energy Services Corp. Mr. Fedora is a 2009 recipient of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 Award. 



Scott Hauck, Director

Scott Hauck has 27 years of oilfield supply experience in the exploration, production and drilling market. He has held several senior and VP level positions within National Oilwell Varco, including materials management and international operations. Mr. Hauck is currently President of the Distribution Services Group in Canada.



Trevor Haynes, Director
President, Chief Executive Officer, Black Diamond Group Ltd. 
Mr. Haynes is a founding shareholder of Black Diamond and has been president and CEO since its inception. From 1992 until 2002 he held various positions within the ATCO Group of Companies including director, International Sales and Division manager. An entrepreneur, Mr. Haynes has been involved in the launch and building of a number of successful companies involved in real estate and construction. Mr. Haynes holds a B.A. from the University of Toronto.



Gord McCormack, Director

Hyduke Energy Service CCS Midstream Services
Gordon McCormack is currently the president, CEO and a director of Hyduke Energy Services Inc., and has been with the company since 2002.
Mr. McCormack holds a Chartered Accountant designation and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta. He is also a director of McCoy Corporation.

Lloyd Stewart, Director

Lloyd Stewart has over 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry with a strong background in operations project execution. Mr. Stewart's career began in 1978 when he started working for Flint Energy Services. He worked various positions and locations in North America, ending his career with Flint Energy Services in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the fall of 2006 as vice president of U.S. operations. Since then, Mr. Stewart returned to Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, bringing his expertise to the family owned business. .

Scott Van Vliet, Director

Scott M. Van Vliet, holds a Bachelor of Science from Montana State University. Mr. Van Vliet made a career in the cattle business working with ranches throughout North and South America. In 2004, upon his return to Canada, he began a career in the fuel business, initially working on remote storage and dispensing systems for helicopter operators. Scott's extensive operational experience and business development aptitude has been an asset to the growth of Environmental Refuelling Systems Inc. since it was formed in 2005.



Ken Willson, Director
Vice President/General Manager, Guardian, A ShawCor Company
Ken Willson has spent 35 years in a variety of management roles in the service sector of the Canadian oilpatch since graduating in 1972 from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering. Mr. Willson is currently vice president and general manager of Guardian, A Shawcor Company, an OCTG inspection and repair company with operations in Canada, Mexico and Cuba. In addition to the PSAC Board, he has been on the board of directors of the International Pipe Inspectors Association for six years and currently holds the position of vice-chair.
